    if i buy an american iphone will it work in ireland?

    im goin to america and lookin to buy an iphone and bring it back to ireland will it work

    No, American network are different..However, an European cell phone will work on the U.S. You might be able to change the SIM card on the iphone and put a SIM from Ireland, to work...Just maybe.

    if you get it unlocked you'll be able to use it on any carrier.

    Ya your iphone will work in Ireland, if it is an unlocked one....If it is locked to some particular network you need to unlock it to work in Ireland...
