Mouse delay when gaming? HELP!!!!!?

I recently had a custom gaming computer built for myself. Whenever I am on the desktop and in other applications, the mouse responds with perfect timing (I have a 5ms gaming monitor). However, when I try to play Dead Space the mouse experiences a delay between the time I move my hand and the time the motion is demonstrated on the monitor. I'm not sure quite sure what the problem is. I have an extremely powerful gaming computer, so I'm not quite sure what the problem is. Could it be an issue with the mouse? Or some sort of driver? Help

Use best branded mouse. or this problem is depend on your VGA card some games need more 3D rendering so you want to a high quality VGA card.
