What kind of friend is she? is our friendship strong?

We have only been friends around 6months...but i knew her for around 2years before as we used to be neighbours. We are in contact daily. we even send goodnight messages we both work but spend quite alot of time together when we are not. we go shopping, out for drinks, lunch and to the theatre coffee and our house. we always do things my 3 yr old too and we are spending new years eve together. we talk about anything and everything and we have such a laugh! its a 2way thing. I should add i told her i have feelings for her...she said she didn't feel the same when i told her a while ago but she always compliments me gives me tight long hugs and kisses on the cheek. does our friendship sound strong?
