First of all, before someone gets offended and tells me to go to hell - I'm gonna make it clear that I'm not referring to all American news programmes. I'm sure there are ones which are alright, as with Australia (where I live), but after seeing so many US News reports, I really must ask why a lot of them are so ridiculous.
Take for example, just about any news report regarding 4chan.
Or here's another great example:
