Strange, you can't experience this in Dell laptops. Dell laptops are good and they cannot be damaged easily. Don't worry, contact the Dell techcian via Internet chat (but you need to have warranty). They will help you via the internet. The website is http://support.ap.dell.com/support/index.aspx?c=sg&l=en&s=gen . Choose a country or region at the bottom of the page. The webpage will transfer to another page which is the same but from different country/region. Click on "Chat Online with Technical Support" at the right of the page.
