Prime Prep Academy no longer has Prime.
Deion Sanders, known as "Prime Time" during his Hall of Fame career, is out at the charter school he co-founded after he was involved in an alleged physical confrontation with an administrator. The Dallas Morning News reported Sanders is no longer involved in Prime Prep Academy in the Dallas area.
It's pretty hard to get ousted from a school you helped create, but Sanders did just that.
"Effective immediately, Deion Sanders is no longer an employee or representative for Prime Prep Academy," said superintendent Rachel M. King-Sanders in a press release, via the Dallas Morning News. "Prime Prep is committed to continually improving as an educational institution and it will continue to strive for excellence in every aspect."
Kevin Jefferson, the chief financial officer for Prime Prep, said Sanders choked and slammed him, although Sanders denies that he assaulted Jefferson. Sanders admitted there was a confrontation, apparently because Sanders was upset that some student-athletes were not doing well in school academically, but Sanders said the confrontation never got physical.
Whatever happened, Sanders is no longer employed at his own school. This is what he tweeted on Friday afternoon as news of the split was breaking:

Watch God work! What the devil meant for evil God will turn it around. The fight for right has just began. #kids1st Stay tuned
