Firefox 3 - Download Day

Got home from work ready to download this, shocker, looks like it's not being released until 10AM Californian Time. So I have to wait for the US to catch up with the rest of the world, I'll be in bed then.

Alas, I'll still be getting it even if it ends up being extremely buggy. Anyone else indulging in this gimmicky "download day"? The zealots seem to be having a field day with hyping it up, as you'd expect!

I'll probably not indulge in the download day, but as soon as I get back from the Motherland it'll be on my computer ready to go! God, I hate IE.

What's the rush to get an upgrade surely it can't be THAT exciting

FF is better than IE. It is more stable and it has enhancements like spell checker, widgets and add ons that make your own browser unique. IE comes packaged and if your PC is not up to standard it will reject the download. FF on the other hand is more fun and comes more recommended on the Internet from sites like Cnet.

I may just get it as I signed up for the download email.
