    Camcorder advice

I'm looking to buy a digital camcorder but don't know anything about 'em. I'm looking to get one of the net for between £100-£200 (from Ebay new or used). Can you advise what I should look for, what type I should buy, etc?

    Thanks in advance

    Camcorder advice

This may sound odd, but for that price range I'd actually recommend buying a regular still digital camera that has the ability to capture avi or mpeg4 movies and a really big memory card. Your video quality will be almost the same, and you'll have more versatility because you can take still photos.
