Need help with MySpace account recovery! ASAP?

Okay, so like 4 years ago I had a MySpace account, and I stopped using it and the Email that it was linked to. After a certain amount of time of inactivity, the email is automatically deleted. So if I remake the same email address and get a "Password Reset Verification" sent to it, will it show up in that new account?
BTW MySpace says the email sent to that email address, but I am not seeing it, and that is the only email with that address of course.
