I have a Crunch Ground Pounder GPV2000.1 Maxx Watt Power A/B Class Mono Amplifier but it has 4 25-amp fuses which I've been lead to believe it can only do about 100 amps maximum.
That should translate to about 1400 watts rms at a standard 14 volt alternator-battery set up while the car is running. Factoring in the fact that the amp is an A/B class it will run closer to 980 watts rms because A/B amps only are 70% efficient.

now with all this information my question is:

will my stock 70-75 amp alternator be enough to run the system without ruining it? Or do I need to increase the amps in my alternator by buying a new one, and if so, by how many more amps would I need? and why?

I'm trying to get this all figured out so please be as descriptive as possible.

Thank you
