Liz Carmouche, the bantamweight who along with champion Ronda Rousey helped turn the first women's fight in UFC history into a major success, will continue her bid for another title shot when she meets Alexis Davis on Nov. 6.
The bout will be part of the UFC's annual "Fight for the Troops," and will be held at Fort Campbell, Ky., and televised on Fox Sports 1.
Carmouche nearly submitted Rousey before being caught in Rousey's arm bar and submitting herself. But Carmouche returned to action in July and stopped UFC rookie Jessica Andrade at 3:57 of the second round in a dominant performance.
Davis won her UFC debut when she defeated Rosi Sexton via unanimous decision in Winnipeg at UFC 161 on June 15. Davis is a black belt in both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Japanese Jiu-Jitsu.

She is 14-5 overall and has won six of her last seven fights.
The main event of the "Fight for the Troops" will pit former light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida in his middleweight debut against Tim Kennedy in a five-round bout.
