My blackberry bold 9900 won't read the media card?

So I have a media card for my phone and it worked for a while but today I got a message saying "media card is not inserted properly" but I haven't touched it. This has happened before but I usually fixed it by taking out the media card and battery then putting them back in. Any suggestions?

I have a blackberry curve and I know how many problems there can be with blackberrys lol.. It's done that to me before... This is what I'd do:
-make sure it's inserted properly and securely (we all make this mistake :3)
-Take it out, blow into where it goes, then put it back in.
If that doesn't work...
-take the battery out and shake the phone (media card still in)
-just take it out and battery pull multiple times
-maybe get a different media card if all else fails
P.S.
I know this isn't part of your particular problem but if the trackpad ever stops working, (like mine did) take out everything (sim card, media card, battery) and press the trackpad multiple times really fast, then a longer pushes, then put it all back in and it should work haha. If it doesn't shake it!
I didn't find good advice like this anywhere on the internet so I thought I should include it for you just in case that ever happened to you!
