Well, I really wanted to get the Sims 3 so I decided to use a pirating website.
The link wasn't save and I deleted all the files.
I'm not sure if I got all of them, I'm putting my PC on a scan soon.
A short while after, I got an error along with weird rippling on my computer screen, telling me something called XVID wasn't working and went corrupt and to fix it.
I did a Norton scan a few minutes before XVID started acting up.
I haven't heard of XVID before, it seems safe but I'm not sure if I should update or not.
I'm sorry for the confusion of this, it's late and I'm quite tired
What I basically am asking:
What is XVID, is it safe?
How do I permanently delete those files?
Extra info:
I got the sims 3 virus accident from here: http://thepiratebay.sx/torrent/8761220/
I used Utorrent to download it.
Thanks

Yeah, if you could just tell the police your address, that would be great. Because you've more or less told a server that's now probably tracking you exactly what you've done. Enjoy the angry company letter you will now probably receive.
