Ive heard i should focus on learning c first then others have told me that I should just jump in and learn syntax as I go.
What is an ideal route to making iphone games?
As far as I know, the iPhone uses "Objective C".
I'd start straight away with Objective C, instead of just C.
If you learn C first, it will just confuse you with a different syntax, a slightly different format etc.
I'd just jump right in and follow a few tutorials to get you started.
