NTSC / PAL / SECAM are terms used for VHS only (Videotapes).
The output signal of a any Blu Ray signal is the same. You have to now look at the zone of your player and your disc. The BDPS 185 is region locked on Europe, so can only play European Blu Ray discs.
A quick Google search however indicates a work around to make the BDPS 185 region free, therefore capable of playing any type of disc from anywhere around the world.
