why isn't my sync bluetooth working in my mustang?

it is not connecting to my phone and voice command is not working. It seems to be since I installed tint in my windows. Could it be related to the tint?

Tinting the windows could have an effect if the tint material is metallic.

Try to re-establish the BT connections by following the instructions
for the devices and the Sync system.

It is possible that the Sync system failed independently,
but at the exact time when the tint job was done.
