Ive checked all the videos and how to steps online and cant find anything specifically for this modem I went into the setup under mac filtering but I didn't have an option to change my ip. I tried the ipconfig release and renew but ip still is the same would appreciate if someone new a way to get around this so I can change my ip address.

    hi,

Each provider assign you a unique ip address for you..You can change the ip address in the AT&T Motorola nvg510 modem .You can reset the internet settings or connect again to internet .Your internet ip address will get changed in Motorola . But it will work if you are using dynamic ip address. If you are accessing wireless connection and it's a static ip address it will not change even if you reset the modem . you need to contact your ISP to change your static ip address . After changing your ip, you can check whether it gets modified or not by using the site Ip-details.com
