how do I find a recipe on a computer?

My dad has a secret family recipe on either one of two computers that I have very little to go on. It is a beautiful recipe for chicken that is chargrilled with a secret family basting sauce and he has 2 computers.... one running windows XP one running windows 7 and I can't for the life of me figure out how to find the document with the recipe.

Any ideas on how to search properly and find this? My family secret depends on it!!!

Tried windows search for .txt, .doc. "basting" "Sauce" and "chicken" but windows 7 doesn't seem like it is searching everywhere!
