Can I cook beef and chicken in the same dish? (chow mein)?

I'm following a chow mein recipe involving chicken breast, but I would like more meat, and I happen to have a little rump steak fillet in the fridge. Can I just throw it in there with the chicken and will it be fine?

As long as it cooked through (especially the chicken) then it should be fine.

You can if you want rare beef..Otherwise, I would suggest you cook them separately because chicken breast cooks faster than beef and then add the two in together. It does sound perfectly yummy.
