Looking to buy a high preformance suv?

I'm trying to find a nice suv for a maximum price of $15,000. I've come across 2004 bmw x5, 2004 porsche cayenne and need help choosing a good suv in this range of high preformance suvs that is reliable and won't soak my wallet when something goes wrong.
Denver area if that helps
 
Area? I would suggest checking Craigslist and local swaps to find what you are looking for. You are in a price range that is above what scammers usually sell vehicles for. If you buy something for sale by owner, you will get a lot better deal than from a used car lot. $15k is a lot to put into a used vehicle.
