Does torrent stop seeding if you delete it from your computer?

My internet account got suspended because my computer was seeding or something like that. I deleted/installed Torrent from my computer now, did I stop the seeding? Or did I do something horribly wrong? Please help.

If you only deleted the torrent from your computer then it didn't stop seeding. As long as you still have the file that the torrent was downloading onto your computer and the torrent client you are using still has it active, then you can still be seeding the torrent. Once you've uploaded the torrent to your torrent client then you don't need the torrent on your computer anymore for the torrent to be active.
