recipe 2: http://www.eaglebrand.com/recipes/details/default.aspx?recipeID=4128

Which of these fillings below will work best? Do I use cherry pie filling or cherry preserves/jam? How much do I use of the pie filling or the cherry preserves/jam? Do I swirl it into the fillings below or layer it on top? Or does someone have a better filling option? And will these be too sweet and overwhelming?
