Thank you, in advance, for your insight.
My car (2007 Chrysler Crossfire) recently began producing a burning scent - somewhat similar to the smell of a new car when you turn it off. It generally occurs when I am at a stoplight or slowing down. I'm not sure if the weather plays a role - a very cold winter just ended, and nice weather is underway.
I assume it has something to do with the brakes given that it happens primarily when I am slowing/stopped. But, could any of you experts provide other plausible reasons?
