    Why don't laptops have blueray players or do they?

    As far as I know, my Acer laptop has a regular DVD player.

    My 2012 Toshiba Satellite C855 has a DVD Burner / Blu-Ray Player.

    Older laptops, plus cheap newer laptop probably will not have a Blu-ray drives.

    Some models have Blu-ray players or BD-ROMs. You have to check it in the specs.
