Can I use the HTC One x on T-Mobile?

I want to buy a used HTC One X and unlock it will one of those unlock codes. I have a normal sim card and since the phone only takes micro-sims I am considering cutting it to making it fit. I know that I might only get 2g speeds which doesn't matter since I don't used data. Any other problems should I know about? Will this set up work? Thanks!
