Yes but butter makes a better tasting cookie and is probably better for you in the long run. Margarine is some pretty bad stuff. Long ago I can assure you I used all margarine to make cookies and it works fine.
Yes I believe so. Even substituting oil should be fine.
I guess you can but margarine is very unhealthy. If you want you can put margarine but I would suggest butter.
