for my hs graduation present my dad bought me a porshe.

I was so stoked until I was with my asian friends who had gtrs and integras and civics...man they had over 400 horsepowers

and then I thought to myself what if I was the only white guy with a fwd porshe...i could be fast and have traction and drift

any ideas on costs and such

You would be better off trading up to an AWD Porsche, or a ricer than to go through the trouble of reconfiguring a rear-wheel drive car for front-wheel drive.

It can be done (anything can 'be done') but not without considerable time, money, and effort - and at the end of the day it probably just isn't worth it.

Your Porsche, as is, is totally able to wipe the floor with those.
To improve the cars performance, you need to take out the nut holding the steering wheel at the moment and replace it with a medium-good driver.

GT-Rs are AWD.... and will smoke most 911s, never mind the cute Boxter your daddy got you.

FWD is for people who can't drive. I'd definitely suggest it for you... you don't want to wind up like this guy.
