190,000 miles on a dodge v6 Dakota sport?

My dad bought a new truck and wants to give me his old truck.Its a nice looking truck it just has almost 200,000 miles on it and he's been the only owner so I know it's been taken care of.I don't know anything about cars though.Is that too many miles for it to run good?

It is not too many miles for it to run, but it might have problems. My advice is to drive it and if it gives you serious problems ditch it, because the truck is spent.

No, as long as it has been maintained well, it should be fine. Some cars/trucks go over 300,000 miles if you take care of it and have regular checks. I have known people whose cars were in the high 200,000 and even in the 300,000's and their cars were still running.
