Hello All, I just would like to know where the location of the starter is on a Lexus is300 2001. I don't have the car manual handy and I want to replace it, I just don't know where exactly it is and I really would like to know. Thank you.

where is the starter of a Lexus is300 2001 located?

it's on the bottom of the engine, where the engine and trans come together. it's not hard to spot. it's round and about 7 to 9 in. long and held in place by 2 bolts.
