I found a '72 Charger for sale and I'm seriously considering buying it. I've always wanted a classic car. The problem is, I have absolutely no idea what the engine specs mean. I'm a fairly smart person, but have no experience with engines other than your basic everyday knowledge.

I've seen this before: Every time I pump gas or stop at a red light someone is going to start asking questions about the car and act like it's sacrilegious if I don't know everty detail about the engine.

I didn't go to school for this and I don't have a father or uncle who bestowed the info upon me. It might as well be another language. So... what is the jargon?
