No it will be more like the DS and 3DS.

They will still make games for the 360 for another 1-2 years after the next system is released, but many of the best developers will most likely stop making new games for the 360 so they can get in on the new systems market.

They will probably make games for both systems for a while until the 360 dies out and the games get to challenging on its hardware. That's what happened with the PS2.
