I'm a journalism student writing an article regarding the trend of smartphones replacing traditional cell phones in popular use. What are your thoughts about smartphones' effects on society? Do you think they're a good/bad influence or both? How has communication changed, from your perspective? Are smartphones practical?

Include first name (or fake name), age (if you want) and country. Any additional input you have is welcome :) Thanks!

The evolution of smart phones will be a chip implanted in our brains. Some people are likely to oppose that, but what can you do with such sore heads?

"Sore heads" Get it?

I think people get more isolated with all this technology. It's nice to check on friends on Facebook but it's sad we don't have time to meet up anymore. I think it's ridiculous when I see a person just sitting on his/her phone all day, - is there life at all? I don't think smartphones are good influence but it isn't bad to be able to look up a map or some info if you can't access a computer. Personally, I have never had a smartphone, I'm Nelli, 23 years old, USA, and my phone is just a basic phone but I do use my laptop.
