I want to make a mobile charger to charge my phone which requires max 4.2 V and 418 mA. I want to supply dc voltage of about 5-10V ( It can be less or more then that values, i don't really know exact voltage because I want to use a dynamo for input). The voltage can be very high due to high speed so it should have protection against such matter. Can anyone give me a circuit diagram of a voltage regulator which can work in condition mentioned above.

You need a Zeener diode to control Voltage.

1N5338B = 5.1 Volts (5 Watts)
1N5337B = 4.7 Volts (5 Watts)

Also use a 0.5 amp fuse.
I dont know abt output of dynamo, but if its Alternating, you need a bridge rectifiere and a filter capacitor.
Even if its a DC use a Diode to be on safe side.
