Johnny Depp.
They wanted to cast Tom Cruise as Edward Scissohands,but he wouldn't take the part unless they gave Edward a happy ending and made him beautiful. Depp on the other hand wanted more scars for Edward! He's much more of an actor than Cruise.
 
They're Both Great But Johnny Depp Is More Experienced, Not Saying That Tom Cruise Isn't But Johnny Depp Is More Experienced, And I Enjoyed More Of Johnny Depp's Films Like: Pirates Of The Caribbean; The Tourist Etc. Than Tom Cruise's: Vanilla Sky; Oblivion; Knight & Day; The War Of The Worlds Etc.
So That's My Opinion, xx
 
Johnny Depp, easily. Tom Cruise is a GREAT actor, no denying that, but Johnny Depp can really seem to immerse himself in a character in a way that Tom Cruise doesn't do.
