I have a 1994 Honda Accord LX with a 4 cylinder 2.7 L engine. A few weeks ago I went out to start my car to go to class, and it cranked and cranked, but wouldn't start. I ended up replacing the entire distributer, main relay, spark plugs, and spark plug wires. I also cleaned out the cylinders. I go it to start and drove it for about a week and a half. I went out this morning and it did the same thing. it cranks and cranks, but wont fire up. In between the first fix and now, it took a little to get it to start up the firt time, but after it fired, I would turn it off, and it would fire right back up. Just when it sat for a while is when it would have trouble starting. At this point, I don't know where to start to get this car fixed. The speedometer works about 40% of the time. I have notice though, that when the speedometer is working, that the car seems to run and shift smoother. I don't know if this is related, or if it is a coincidence. I need to get this car running. please help!
