i have a 97 gmc jimmy 4wd. i have a v6 in it right now. but my friend has a v8 from a 96 camaro z28. and i was wondering if i would be able to put that in my jimmy. if so what would i need to make it happen? do i need a different tranny? basically if possible to do this project what do i need, requirements, tools, etc.?
