i have a 2002 ford explorer sport suv?

i dont know how to explain it but part of the ignition broke and i dont know what the part is but its inside where the tumblr goes and at the end there is a part that has rigid teeth where the ignition connects so the engine can turn on, does anyone know what this part is called and where i can find it
