The hotel website says 18+ is an adult. My uncle said he will check us in (Me, age 16, and my friend, age 15) but he doesn't want to stay the night. Is this allowed?

I think it's illegal for a minor to pay for a hotel room and that's why they always ask for an ID at the front desk, but if you're just staying in a room by yourself it's fine. Even if it is illegal, the people at the hotel won't find out
