    2001 mitsubishi ecplipse?

I have an '01 eclipse that wont start. We replace the primary an secondary core cable from the battery to the rest of the car an bought a new battery. It started fine for awhile till last week. I turn it over an the panel lights will dim/die an wont turn over. Not even click. If i get jumPed it has to charge for a few minutes before itll start, but as soon as i shut it off it wont turn over on its own. What else could it be? Altenator? Solinoid? Please help #tryingtomakeit

I know nothing about cars but I also had an '01 eclipse that did the same sort of thing and I had to get a new altentator. Whatever the fuck that is lmao. I got rid of that piece of shit. Seriously do yourself a favor and look for a new car. Those things break all the time. Totally wasn't even worth it.
