Are you by any chance attempting to p?ay an "Xbox" game you downloaded and burnt onto a DVD yourself? If the answer to that is yes then it takes a lot more than a DVD burner and a blank disc to get past microsofts security.
If you are in fact using a legit Xbox game then you should probably give customer support a ring, you may need to replace the disc drive and if it's a fault then Microsoft might replace it. Or maybe try a lens cleaner disc just on the off chance your lens is dirty and it's causing it to read discs wrong, I doubt that's the case but it's worth a shot.
