Help: How do I get a nerdy guy to like me?

*I'm sorry for the long story.*

Okay so there's this guy in my AP Government class that I'm starting to like. I'm not going to lie, he's a pretty nerdy kid. He's into anime, cosplay, science fiction, get's straight A's, teachers love him, all that good stuff. Last week we were assigned to be partners for a project and at first I was pretty disappointed because I wanted to be paired up with one of my friends, but I was kinda glad since he's the smartest guy in our class. After we were assigned to be partners we talked for a bit and decided that we were going to going to work on the project at his house. Later that afternoon I drove to his house, which I found out is about a block away from mine (I know, weird right? We've lived in the same neighborhood for years and I never noticed). When I got to his house no one answered the door but I heard someone in the back so I decided to go back there, I walked there and saw him in his pool. I caught him by surprise and he told me that he wasn't expecting me so early, then he got out the pool to grab a towel and the first thing I noticed was his INCREDIBLE body, I never noticed but he's pretty damn hot. We went inside and he told me to just grab a seat so I sat down on the couch and all across the house was his trophies for lacrosse, debate and other stuff. I asked him if he had any ideas for the project and he told me: "Oh, I already have like twelve different ideas in my head but I just wanted to run them by you and see which one you like the best." We talked about the project ideas for a few minutes and he let me chose the one I liked the best and told me I didn't have to worry about doing anything and that he'll just do the whole thing himself since he's got a lot of free time. After that he told me that I could go home if I wanted. I don't know why, but I decided to stay and chat for a little. I started asking him questions about himself and I was pretty amazed at what I learned about him. He's fluent in French, president of the debate team at my school, has a genius level IQ, got accepted into six Ivy League schools but instead he's going to the U.S. Air Force Academy, he goes L.A.R.Ping and ton of other interesting stuff. Honestly I thought all of the nerdy stuff was kind of cool. Ever since then I've been over his house two times to help with the project (And talk to him a bit more), and now I'm starting to like him.

I've never really been interested in the nerdy, quiet, super-smart type guys. I'm into the jock, athletic, popular type dudes, but this guy is very interesting. He's smart, very handsome, interesting, polite, a gentleman and actually kind of sweet. I invited him to my pool party next week but he declined saying: "I'm not really a party person, I'd rather stay home and get this project done." Which disappointed me because I really wanted him to come over. I'm starting to really like him but I'm not sure if he's interested in me or not. He doesn't have a lot of friends so I can't ask anybody to see if he likes me or not and we don't hang around the same social group.

I just wanted to know how I can get this guy. I've never dealt with this type of guy before and I really want to get to know him a lot better. I'll admit I'm not smart as him, but I consider myself attractive and I hear guys like him care more about intelligence than anything else. What can I do to get him to notice me? How do I dress, act, anything to make me more desirable to him? I would really appreciate any and all advice, it would be a real help.
