What are some pros and cons of the crank sensor mod for a 2006 mazda 3 2.0l?

Will the ecu retard the timing back to normal after I advance it? What other information should I know about moving the sensor.

    Thanks,

    Warren

I think you should leave it where it is, because without moving the CMP (Camshaft Position) Sensor, all you are doing is making the PCM (Powertrain Control Module) think that the Camshaft and Crankshaft are "Out Of Sync"
I don't know where you heard this from but it doesn't make sense to me.
