No audio with DIVX? pop says additional software required?

I just downloaded a whole season of two anime shows and they play fine on DIVX but there's no sound, a popup comes up and gives the usual BS. I tried downloading a bundle of codecs that include that ac3 or whatever. I don't really understand ^^ Advice please? Save the day XD

I don't know about this specific situation, I just want to warn you about downloading codecs. They are easily one of the best ways to get malware, even more so than pirating movies/tv shows/music, because they are executable files. If you try to play a song and it turns out to be an executable, you just won't run it, delete it, problem solved. With a codec you'll likely install it the whole way and it can be a wonderful pain in the ass for your friends in the IT world.
