Some of the strongest Christians condemn religion because there is so much perversion in most churches and instead refer to themselves as spiritual.

Religious is the polite form of deluded isnt it? they all share common delusions related to a father in the sky, only the names are changed to delude the Innocent.

"The religious" is just to broad of a term to use when regarding only one branch of religion. Christianity, Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam etc all have names for a reason.
