How do I record video's on my Sony Ericsson mini pro?!?

I've had this phone for about a year but have never managed to figure out how to record videos. I can put it onto the video-camera mode....but then dont seem to be able to do anything else - there is no start button. I just tap the screen hopefully every time but nothing happens Am I missing some software or is my phone just a goon?
