Why do books arguing against the existence of God sell far better than books

arguing for the existence of God? There have been many books written in response to "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins. A lot of them were pretty weak. But perhaps the best one was the one written by the philosopher Keith Ward called "Why There Almost Certainly is a God", which absolutely demolished Dawkins' arguments. But I wonder why atheist books get much more exposure and reach far more people than theistic books?

Good point; i suppose people always like to believe the worst possible scenario or something like that. Just like how TV shows and magazines about the end of the world always get the most attention, rather than good things about the world. And how negative stories in the news always outshine any positive ones

Of course Ballistic missiles have more speed and range than Cargo planes. Atheist books are jet-propelled by Hot Air.

Christians already know the truth so they don't need confirmation.
Atheist seek out anyone who agrees with them; then support them like crazy.

"Philosopher" Keith Ward - I've read his "Is Religion Dangerous" and he's no "philosopher," but either a liar or simply unaware of history. Religion indeed has been deadly to genocidal degrees, Ward seemingly unaware of this.

The only thing Keith Ward can "demolish" as you say, is his own reputation.

Keith Ward, William Lane Craig, Dinesh D'Souza all use mendacities and circular logic to make their "points" and they are little more than modern day charlatans and outright liars.

Because most Christians base their beliefs on faith and dont need further proof (other than the bible, if you consider it proof lol). Atheists are always looking to expand their knowledge and confirm their beliefs.

The bible is a best seller and also the most popular book around.
The silence of the gods is what drives many people to buy atheist books, humans want vision and proof and not faith.
Lots of people brand christianity as a delusional subject so they'll try to look for more proof to back them up.

Christians in doubt also buy such books to help them choose sides since they lack the faith to do so.
We all want truth at hand, its in our nature to put aside any patience or hope for the unknown in place for what seems to be the truth at hand.

People are sick of being betrayed by authorities of the human kind [our government for example], A simple conscious awareness/awakening feeds the "QUESTION all authority " bug in all of us, now being the Bible was written words of "Saints" [authority figures] why not question "their" authority? and carry that questioning on to the other side called the spiritual world? Spiritual stuff I believe in, however I can't subscribe to an authority in the spiritual world, Heaven and hell to me are fables from the opiate addicted saints of 2000 years ago and their control freak tools of the political trade called gospels.
