Either not getting spark or fuel. First if its still carbureted you can look into the carb when truck is off and pull the throttle back to see if gas is going into motor. If not then you have a bad filter or pump and both are easy replacements on that truck. The pump should be on the front passenger side of the block towards the bottom of motor(New pumps range from 15 to 50 for a mechanical) If no spark first check to see if the ignition fuse is blown if not then check for power to the distributor. If you have all that but still no spark pull distributor cap off and check the rotor. If there is any corrosion or moisture in there then replace that (cap an rotor kit runs about 25 dollars at the parts store) if still nothing after that either your way out of timing somehow or distributor it's self is bad (45-200 to replace) luckily if the truck is still all original then there is no computer so it shouldn't be too hard to track down the issue

Have you been driving it? or has it been sitting? did you do any repairs recently? when were points, distributor head, condenser, spark plugs, spark plug wires REPLACED? Are points gapped correctly?Usually some or all of the above.
Also check for loose wiring to distributor .
