sinc all of this wth my dvr cable box? I think i have every cable known to man, but i cannot get all of the parts working properly. I forgot to mention i also have the sound bar. is there any way to link all of this to my dvr box from the cable company? At this point, i can't even watch netflix with my son. What to do??

Not sure what kind of cable box you have and what connections it has. If it's HD then connect using HDMI or component cables to the TV. If it's SD connect using composite to the TV.
Connect the bluray to the TV via HDMI
Connect TV to the soundbar via optical
