Could a 17 year old insure a Porsche 944? (For a reasonable price)?

I've been looking into classic cars and The Porsche 944 has kept cropping up on sites, and looks quite nice. My fear is as I will be turning 17 soon and I live in Worcestershire (UK) I have no hope of insuring it... Am I right?

People have suggested Classic Car Insurance on 944's and 928's but didn't they fix that loophole?

As I would be spending a fair bit of money on the car I don't want to pay loads of insurance, I would love to know ideas of insurance costs and general feedback about the car, I know it would cost a fortune to run by the way.

    All Help Appreciated

No, I'm sure for a 911 you would need to be at least 25 for anyone to consider insuring you and even at 25 without much driving experience it would cost a fair bit.

Depends what you mean by a reasonable price. £10,000 would be very reasonable for a 17 year old on a Porsche but realistically you don't have a hope in hell.

you are too young to be on the policy alone. and it will cost a whole bunch as you are young and this is a sports car.

any 17 year old would be looking at insurance of at least £2000 or more, per year insurance, and thats for a bog standard car

Aren't they not low in value? It's around $3000~$6000 here in the states so the insurance should be low.

Classic car insurance I think limits your mileage per year. If that fits your plan then compare the prices.

Unless you are extremely wealthy I wouldn't bother! I live in one of the lowest insurance areas in the UK and my 19yr old was quoted 6k on a 12yr old 1 litre vw polo lol

Ypou will not get classic insurance at 17
No one will insure you at 17 on one of those so you may as well come home from la la land
