hey plz tell me how can we increase frame rate of games in pcsx2 emulator?

hey i know it requires high pc configuration but is there any plugin or patch that can be used to increase fps in pcsx2 , i tried to play smackdown here comes the pain , but it was running at very slow fps ,plz help me,thanks.

you could try to tone dwn the setting for your oc altogether, like right click on the exe icon and go to properties > compatability > check run in 256 colors. also lower ur screen resolution and se up the plugins so that the video is as tiny as possible, the smaller a picture is the easier it is to run. also try going into config > cpu and checking EVERYTHING and put the frames on normal, this increased my fps from 3 to 25. I still have low fps issue though (25fps still doesnt cut it, although i can play the game now).

i want to play FINAL FANTASY 7 DIRGE OF CERBERUS. I got

P4 HT 3.2GHz
2GB RAM
Nvidia 9400GT 512MB DDRII
(and i have the ISO file in my pc. I am not using DVDROM to play)

I am having 13-15Fps in Game. Which is definitly not good to play. I know there is problem in cofiguration of Graphic Plugin.

Please some one Help me in it

hey thats no way to speak to someone you dont even know!! if someone asks for help do you always tell them to fuck themselfs!? for anyone having trouble with frame rates i suggest scouring through the pcsx2 forums looking for your answers, and posting a bunch of questions, its what its there for, and the NICE FRIENDLY people there have helped me out with my problems too

If u really want to increase fps in Pcsx2 All u need to do is to:

1-Defragment ur hard disk completely.

2-Go to Task Manager and tab to Processes.Then close extra processes that are currently running.Close the explorer as well as it takes too much Ram.

3-Running the Pcsx2 in 256 colors does not improve the speed as some people has mistaken.So dont do it.

4-Try to run the games in Pcsx2 in Ultra Low Resolution mostly 640*480.It increases the speed to some extent.

5-Always play games in Fullscreen mode.

6-Make your Graphic configuration as follows:
Plugin: GSDx9(MSVC 15.00, SSE2)0.11.4
Resolution: 640*480
Refresh Rate: 85Hz
Renderer: Direct3d9
Shader: 2.0
Interlacing: None
Aspect Ratio: 4:3
D3d Internal res: 512*512
Texture filtering: uncheck
Tv-output: uncheck
wait vsync: uncheck
NLOOP Hack: uncheck
Logarithm Z: uncheck
Alpha Correction: uncheck

7:Make your Sound Plugin as follows:
Plugins: ZeroSPU2 0.4.4
uncheck all the boxes in its configuration menu except Mute.Mute box should be checked.

8-Under CPU configuration menu:
Check all the boxes.
Frame Limiting: check Normal.

In this way your game framerate will incrase upto 10 fps.
